March Weather cool and dry

By Doug Barrett Apr 4, 2022 | 8:19 AM

March was anything but a heat wave in the Red River Valley. The National Weather Service says the average temp last month was 2.4 degrees below normal in Grand Forks and 1.9 degrees in Fargo.
Precipitation amounts were also below the norm at both sites.
The long-range outlook for April by the Climate Prediction Center calls for equal chances for above or below normal temperatures and precipitation.
By the way this is Severe Weather Awareness Week in Minnesota.
