Injured male sent to Altru after GFPD welfare check

Grand Forks police say a welfare check Friday afternoon on the 16-hundred block of Rider Road resulted in a male subject being taken to Altru Hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Police say his condition is unknown.
According to police, nearby Red River High School was on lockdown for a brief time, while the initial responding officers were investigating the incident.
