High Speed Chase

A 36-year old West Fargo (ND) man faces charges after leading authorities on a high speed chase on Wednesday. The North Dakota Highway Patrol reports a trooper attempted to stop the suspect around 3:30 p-m on I-29 in reference to a gas drive-off complaint from Hillsboro (ND). The driver fled west on Highway 200 onto several gravel roads in Traill County before returning to the Interstate.
Authorities flattened two of the suspect vehicle’s tires - but he refused to stop until a PIT maneuver was utilized near Harwood (ND). Top speeds during the chase – 105 mph.
The H-P identified the suspect as Thomas Hibpsham-Jr. He was been charged with possession of stolen property…fleeing…driving with a suspended license…theft of fuel…and outstanding warrants.
Charges are also pending for a 32-year old female passenger.
