Passenger traffic continues to crash at the Grand Forks Airport. The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission says boardings through the G-F-K last month totaled just nine-thousand-56 – the lowest July tally since 2009. So far this year passenger numbers are down over 14-percent -- to 67-thousand-317. It’s the largest decline among the state’s eight commercial airports.
By comparison travel in 2017 is up one-percent in Fargo….over four-percent in Bismarck…and eleven-percent in Devils Lake. Boardings in Minot are down six-and-a-half percent.
