The Minnesota Highway Patrol says a Grand Forks woman was killed in a Wednesday (Aug. 2) accident on the north shore of Lake Superior, northeast of Two Harbors.

Officials say 50-year-old Jennifer Ann White was riding a 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle, going north on Highway 61 in Silver Creek Township.

A 2007 Chevy pickup was traveling south, and pulled in front of the cycle while attempting a left turn.

White’s cycle crashed into the passenger side of the pickup, around 1:45 p.m.

The two occupants of the pickup were not injured.

The patrol says that White was not wearing a helmet, and that alcohol was not a factor.
