Turnout was “light” for a pair of ward meetings held in Grand Forks last night. Ward 2 Council member Crystal Schneider set up shop the fire station off Columbia Road to address neighborhood concerns. Around a dozen people attended the event - including city staff and firefighters at the station.
City Councilman Bret Weber also held a meeting at city hall for Ward 3 constituents - about a half dozen people showed up. Weber says moving forward "we will see how it goes...even if a few folks show up I'm happy to do it."
Weber has another neighborhood meeting planned for November 9th.
