In his first State of the City address East Grand Forks Mayor Steve Gander gave credit to staff for keeping the city on track. Looking ahead the mayor also outlined a ten point plan for the future. It includes everything from expanding the civic center and building public trust to getting the city’s financial reserves on target…building maintenance…and reviewing a master plan for parks. Gander says he would also like to see some movement on a south-end neighborhood bridge.
Gander says seeking public input will be a key in the coming years. The mayor says he’s mindful of the past…grateful for the present….and excited for the future.
