A sports drink company will receive a 160-thousand dollar low interest loan from the Jobs Development Authority to help relocate from Lincoln (NE) to Grand Forks. The city council -- meeting as the J-D-A -- approved the loan this week for Krampade.
Economic Development Corporation President Keith Lund says the firm is looking to set up a production facility in the Industrial Park. He says the target market will be athletic cramping...menstrual cramping...and those with chronic cramping.
Krampade will also tap a bank…personal…and a North Dakota Development Fund loan to finance the 490-thousand dollar project. The company expects to create eleven new jobs.
