The Grand Forks School Board will have six options to choose from if they go the route of a search firm to help land a new superintendent. Current school boss - Dr-Larry Nybladh - has informed the district he plans to retire at the end of the current school year. The board sent out an R-F-P in September for search consultants.
Two of the firms are located in Minnesota – the others come from Iowa…Michigan…Nebraska…and Illinois. The cost of hiring an outside firm ranges from $12,500 to $23,000 – plus expenses.
The board will review the proposals at their meeting next week.
