Grand Forks Police have charged an 18-year-old man in connection with an armed robbery last month at the KFC on South Washington.

Police say Caleb T. Rose of Grand Forks is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, a class B felony which carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison, a $20,000 fine, or both.

Police say on March 11th, a male suspect entered the restaurant after it closed, then displayed a handgun and demanded money from an employee.

The employee gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect, who fled on foot.

The P-D says no one was injured and the gun was not fired.

Authorities say the investigation is still open. Anyone with info on the robbery is asked to call Grand Forks Police.
