A 31-year old Emerado (ND) man faces charges after causing a three vehicle crash in Grand Forks last night.
Grand Forks Police Lt- Derik Zimmel says the accident occurred near the intersection of 17th Avenue South and Columbia Road shortly after seven p-m. Authorities say Bradley Bruce was westbound on 17th Avenue South at a high rate of speed. Bruce smashed into a squad car when he reached the intersection – sending the patrol vehicle into a pole. He proceeded to hit a second S-U-V driven by a 34-year old Grand Forks woman nearly head-on.
Inside the vehicle were two small children. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
Bruce is being charged with aggravated reckless driving…reckless endangerment… and D-U-I.
