Two male suspects have been identified by Grand Forks Police in connection with a home invasion and robbery last Friday night.
Police say a male forcibly entered a home on the 300 block of Circle Drive East, struck the female homeowner with a handgun, then fled. Police say a phone and some cash were stolen, while the victim suffered wrist and head injuries.
Police say the suspects are 40-year-old Casey Featherstone, and 19-year-old Garrett Featherstone of Arvilla.
The P-D says Garrett Featherstone was taken into custody on Saturday, but Casey Featherstone is not in custody.
Police say Casey Featherstone faces ten charges, including robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, terrorizing, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. (Also felonious restraint, theft of property, possession of stolen property)
Police say Garrett Featherstone is charged with criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary, and possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He appeared in court today (Tue). His preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 18.
Anyone with information about the case—or the whereabouts of Casey Featherstone—is asked to contact Grand Forks Police.
Last month, Casey Featherstone was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, and driving with a suspended license.
