Some hungry customers waited in line or camped out in tents overnight for this morning’s grand opening of the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Grand Forks. The eatery off 32nd Avenue South is the first North Dakota location. A second Chick-fil-A will open in Fargo in early 2018. The company now has a presence in 47 states and Washington D-C.
Franchise owner Guy Wentink says The Grand Forks location has dining room seating for 122…outdoor patio seating for 16…and will employ upwards of 100 workers.
