Grand Forks residents tossed out around 800 tons of junk during last week’s Spring Clean-up Week. City crews picked up over two-tons of metals and appliances…nearly 117 tons of brush and branches…and 589 inert items from alleys and berms. In addition residents hauled 86 tons of debris to the landfill. This year’s electronic recycling program filled two semis with old t-v’s… computers…and other electronic components.
