A deck fire in Fargo caused about $4,500 dollars in damage on Tuesday. Fire crews were notified of the fire around 2:30 p-m. When they arrived on scene they found flames coming from the underneath of the deck and a resident trying to put the fire out with a garden hose. The deck was deemed a total loss. Fire investigators determined the cause to be tied to the improper disposal of smoking materials. There were no injuries.
