East Grand Forks school officials are looking to add security cameras at elementary schools. Each school would receive between 15 to 20 cameras covering both the exterior and interior portions of the building at a cost of 20 to 25-thousand dollars per school. Superintendent Mike Kollness says the added security also includes a buzzer system to enter the front door during the school day. Kollness adds the district is also looking down the road at the need to replace aging equipment and cameras at the middle and high school setting.
