Doug Barrett

Doug Barrett is one of the most heavily awarded broadcasters in North Dakota. As a strong voice of balance and integrity in the news, Barrett ‘s two decade long broadcast history with KNOX is dominated by excellence. Known for his calm tone and just the facts style, Barrett was nationally recognized for his work covering the 1997 flood.

Originally from the Chicago area, Barrett now calls Grand Forks home with his lovely wife. With two grown children, Barrett  can often be found playing catch with his dog, working on the latest home improvement project or partaking in a rousing game of curling.
